There’s something special about building a collectible figure with your own hands. Opening the box, connecting the pieces, watching a familiar character come together, and finally finding the perfect pose for your shelf—it feels much more rewarding than simply buying another action figure.
That’s exactly the experience Blokees wants to deliver.
If you’re a fan of Transformers, Marvel superheroes, anime, or collectible model kits, you’ve probably noticed how expensive this hobby can become. Premium figures often cost considerably more than expected, especially when you’re collecting multiple characters.
Blokees offers an interesting alternative, combining recognizable characters, detailed designs, and hands-on assembly at several different price points.
But are these collectible figures actually worth buying? And which Blokees products should you consider first?
Let’s explore what makes the brand appealing and how to choose the right collection for your interests.
What Is Blokees?
Blokees is a collectible toy and model kit brand specializing in buildable character figures.
Its product lineup features characters from popular entertainment franchises, including Transformers, Marvel, Naruto, Ultraman, Star Wars, and Evangelion.
Unlike conventional action figures that arrive fully assembled, many Blokees products let you put the characters together yourself.
The assembly process becomes part of the entertainment.
You don’t necessarily need advanced modeling experience, either. Many kits use snap-fit components, although assembly difficulty varies between product lines.
Another appealing aspect is the variety. Whether you’re buying your first collectible or adding something different to an established display, Blokees offers plenty of options to explore.
1. Blokees Transformers Galaxy Version: Affordable Collecting With a Surprise
<text color=”secondary” size=”sm”>Best for fans who enjoy blind boxes and building a collection over time.</text>
If there’s one collection that deserves attention, it’s the Transformers Galaxy Version series.
These compact model kits feature familiar characters such as Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee, Soundwave, and Shockwave.
What makes Galaxy Version particularly interesting is the surprise-box format.
Instead of knowing exactly which character you’ll receive, individual boxes contain a mystery figure from a particular series.
For collectors, that uncertainty adds excitement to the unboxing experience.
The figures feature articulated joints, character-specific details, and attractive finishes that make them suitable for desk displays or dedicated collectible shelves.
Many Galaxy Version boxes are listed around $8.99 on Blokees’ US website, making them a relatively accessible introduction to the hobby.
Of course, blind boxes aren’t ideal for everyone. If you’re determined to get one particular character, there’s a possibility of receiving duplicates when purchasing multiple boxes.
Still, if you enjoy surprises and want an affordable collectible-building experience, Galaxy Version is a compelling place to begin.
Buying tip: Start with one or two Galaxy Version boxes from a series featuring characters you love before committing to a larger collection.

2. Transformers Classic and Champion Class: For Fans Who Want More Detail
Sometimes, you don’t want a surprise. You know exactly which character deserves a place on your shelf.
That’s where the Transformers Classic and Champion Class model kits become appealing.
These collections feature recognizable characters inspired by different Transformers films and stories.
Depending on the release, you can find Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron, Arcee, and other iconic characters.
What stands out is the balance between assembly, articulation, and display quality.
Unlike ordinary static figurines, these models let collectors experiment with poses and create more expressive displays.
Many individual character kits are priced around $17.99 to $19.99, although prices vary.
For someone who enjoys Transformers but isn’t ready to invest in expensive premium figures, that middle ground is attractive.
Imagine building Optimus Prime on a quiet weekend, posing him alongside Bumblebee, and gradually creating your own miniature Autobot display.
It’s the kind of hobby that can be enjoyable both during assembly and long afterward.
Our assessment: This collection is especially suitable for collectors who prefer choosing specific characters rather than taking a chance on blind boxes.

3. Transformers Action Edition: A More Premium Building Experience
For collectors interested in something more substantial, Blokees also offers Transformers Action Edition model kits.
These models are designed to provide a more involved building and display experience.
Compared with smaller entry-level figures, Action Edition releases focus on larger designs, enhanced details, and more elaborate construction.
They’re particularly attractive to enthusiasts who enjoy adjusting poses and displaying a standout character as the centerpiece of a collection.
The Transformers Action Edition Optimus Prime models are especially worth exploring if you’re a longtime fan of the franchise.
Naturally, these kits generally require a larger budget than Galaxy Version figures.
But there’s an important difference between buying a small collectible for casual enjoyment and choosing a more ambitious model as a dedicated hobby project.
If the building process is something you genuinely enjoy, spending more on a kit that provides additional complexity may be worthwhile.
Buying tip: Choose Action Edition when you want a display centerpiece rather than simply another small figure.
4. Blokees Marvel Collectibles: Bring Your Favorite Superheroes Home
Transformers may receive plenty of attention, but Blokees also offers collectibles inspired by the Marvel universe.
For superhero enthusiasts, that opens up another exciting direction.
Marvel-themed model kits give fans the opportunity to assemble and display characters connected to their favorite comic-book and entertainment stories.
The appeal goes beyond recognizing a character.
Building a figure yourself creates a stronger connection to the finished collectible. You remember how the pieces fitted together, how you adjusted its pose, and where you decided to display it.
Marvel model kits also make thoughtful gifts for people who enjoy superhero merchandise but already own plenty of conventional action figures.
Just make sure to check the recommended age range and assembly requirements before purchasing.
Our assessment: Marvel collectors who enjoy hands-on hobbies should definitely take a look at the available character lineup.
5. Naruto, Ultraman, and Anime-Inspired Collections
One of Blokees’ strengths is that the brand doesn’t limit itself to a single franchise.
Fans of Japanese anime and tokusatsu entertainment can explore collections inspired by Naruto, Ultraman, Evangelion, and Saint Seiya.
That variety matters.
A Transformers enthusiast may prefer robot designs and mechanical details, while an anime collector might be more interested in expressive character models or recognizable costumes.
The Naruto Champion Class lineup includes characters such as Kakashi Hatake and Sakura Haruno.
Meanwhile, Ultraman Galaxy Version releases offer a different collectible style for fans of the legendary Japanese superhero franchise.
Evangelion collectors can also explore Legend Edition model kits featuring the franchise’s recognizable EVA units.
These collections make Blokees appealing to people with different fandoms, particularly those who enjoy displaying several themed figures together.
If your bookshelf already features anime merchandise, adding a buildable character can make the display feel more personal.
What We Like About Blokees
The biggest advantage of Blokees is the combination of collecting and building.
You’re not simply purchasing something to place on a shelf. You’re getting an activity as well as a finished display piece.
Other appealing features include:
- Multiple licensed entertainment franchises
- A range of prices for different budgets
- Articulated figures suitable for creative posing
- Mystery boxes for surprise-loving collectors
- More advanced kits for experienced hobbyists
- Compact collectibles that don’t require much display space
There are also a few drawbacks worth considering.
Blind boxes can result in duplicate characters, and smaller pieces may require patience during assembly.
Not every Blokees kit is appropriate for young children, so recommended ages should always be checked.
Additionally, these are primarily buildable display figures. You shouldn’t assume every Transformers model transforms into a vehicle unless the specific product description confirms that feature.
Keeping those expectations realistic will help you choose a kit you’ll genuinely enjoy.
Final Verdict: Are Blokees Model Kits Worth Buying?
For fans of character collectibles, Blokees offers an appealing mix of affordability, creativity, and recognizable designs.
The Galaxy Version series is particularly attractive for casual collectors, while Classic, Champion, and Action Edition kits provide alternatives for people looking for specific characters or more detailed models.
The growing selection of Marvel, Naruto, Ultraman, and other franchises also gives collectors plenty of reasons to explore beyond Transformers.
Blokees won’t replace every premium collectible on the market, but it doesn’t need to.
Its strongest selling point is making the experience of assembling and displaying beloved characters accessible across different budgets.
Sometimes the most enjoyable collectible isn’t the most expensive one. It’s the figure you had fun building yourself.
